RUBBLEBUCKET – ‘CARO– USEL RIDE’

Rubblebucket’s newest single “Carousel Ride,” off their upcoming album Survival Sounds is organized chaos, a sunny song that has a carefree summer vibe. A fusion of synthesizers, horns, and catchy melodies this single is the soundtrack of a night full of debauchery and good old fashioned fun. Lead singer Kalmia Traver’s voice is original and whimsical, lending to a sound that is equal parts Rilo Kiley and MGMT. Made up of a seven piece band including trumpets and trombones, Rubblebucket gives you just the right amount of everything all held together with Traver’s quirky vocals. Survival Sounds, Rubblebucket’s third album, is set for release on August 25th with a nationwide tour making stops in New York on August 26th where they will play the Mercury Lounge and Brooklyn’s Rough Trade NYC the following night.
