You’ve never seen NYC like this. We’re excited to premiere Kel Kela’s new video, an impressive little trip that was self-made by the band and takes us through some of the eeriest parts of the city. Set to the dusky, meandering alt-rock of “Calypso,” the scenes are only distinguishable as New York by the neon glaze of lights adding detail in the shadows. In Kel Kela’s world, grimy street corners transform into elegant fractals, tiny moments become mysteries, and one face in particular stays burned in their memory. “This must be some secret, sacred place,” they sing – right as you find yourself there with them.
