Monday

White Hinterland @ Manhattan Inn – White Hinterland, aka singer-songwriter Casey Dienel, will be be bringing her jazzy arrangements to Manhattan Inn tonight. You can expect to hear her latest single “Chill and Natural,” the title of which is a perfect fit for the songstress.

 

Tuesday

Jukebox the Ghost @ Bowery Ballroom – Just a few weeks after the release of their Thump Sessions, D.C.’s power-pop three-piece is hitting the Bowery Ballroom tomorrow to the thrill of their fans. (And if you can’t catch them then, they’re also playing there on Thursday!)

 

Fear Of Men @ Rough Trade – An indie pop dream straight out of Brighton, Fear Of Men will be filling up every corner of Rough Trade with their ambient sound tomorrow. Keep an ear out for their latest single, “Island,” which was just released this month.

 

Wyclef Jean @ Brooklyn Bowl – That’s right, Wyclef Jean! Brooklyn Bowl welcomes the Fugees alum and three-time Grammy-winner this Tuesday for what is sure to be a memorable show.

 

Wednesday

Mutemath @ Terminal 5 – Mutemath have earned a passionate following for their 60s- and 70s-influenced alternative rock, and will be tearing it up at Terminal 5 this Wednesday. Don’t miss out!

 

Summer Heart + Brothertiger + Teeel @ The Knitting Factory – From the electronic grooves of Brothertiger and Teeel to Summer Heart’s special brew of lo-fi Swedish pop, The Knitting Factory boasts a nice lineup all around this Wednesday.

 

Thursday

theNEWDEAL @ Music Hall of Williamsburg – Toronto three-piece theNEWDEAL will be taking their modern, improv electronica to MHOW this Thursdsay. They’ll be performing songs from their newest release, Mercury Switch, which just came out this month.

 

The Goddamn Gallows + Outlaw Ritual + Butcher Knives @ The Knitting Factory – Aside from the fact that this lineup sounds like the plot of a badass horror-Western film, we’re pumped to see these unique country rockers take on the Knitting Factory this Thursday.

 

Friday

Bonerama @ The Hall at MP – Hailing from New Orleans, Bonerama’s powerhouse trombone line will be doing their thing at the Hall at MP. Get on out to Brooklyn this Friday – they’re absolutely worth it.

 

Empress Of @ The Bowery Ballroom – Empress Of killed it at CMJ with her soulful vocals and experimental beats, and we certainly haven’t forgotten. You can catch her at the Bowery Ballroom this Friday.

 

Arkells @ The Knitting Factory – Ontario’s alt-rockers hit it big with “Leather Jacket,” which was just released as a brand new remix earlier this month. They’ll be hitting the Knitting Factory on Friday night.

 

Saturday

Galactic @ Terminal 5 – We had a blast last time we saw Galactic, so we’ve gotta send you their way this Saturday. Their supercharged jazz and funk is 100% New Orleans and a must-see live.

 

Field Music @ Rough Trade – Field Music’s newest full-length release, Commontime, hit the shelves just last month, and the English indie rockers will be playing Rough Trade this weekend to celebrate.
