VIDEO PREMIERE: “MESS AROUND” BY WILD ADRIATIC

Wild Adriatic based out of Upstate New York, have just released their first live album, Live Volume One: No Way, Let’s Do It! The trio has been touring relentlessly over the past year and have played at Bonnaroo, CMJ, Mile of Music, and recently debuted at Brooklyn Bowl. Their soulful rock and roll enters your brain and is hard to get it back out. The band have just begun a European month long tour before coming back to make their Mountain Jam debut before a string of summer shows.

From the album we premiere “Mess Around” today.  Travis Gray shows off his vocal and guitar mastery, while Rich Derbyshire holds the low end down while dancing up a storm on stage. Pushing the song forward constantly is Mateo Vosganian drumming like there is no tomorrow.

We had such a blast getting everything prepared to record our very first live record. We called in friends from our hometown and brought our own light and sound techs for this show, and that gave everything the community vibe that we strive for. It was wonderful to be surrounded by friends and family (some working and most just dancing) while we pummeled through a 2+ hour set of pretty much everything we’ve ever written. This tune ‘Mess Around’ started as a 3.5 minute song when we first recorded it for our 2014 debut album and has since evolved on stage. We love to let this one breathe with an improvised bridge section and take it in different directions as the mood strikes us.” – Wild Adriatic
