VIDEO PREMIERE: “JUNGLE” BY PARROT DREAM

As a new season washes over us like an old familiar friend, we are reminded that the future is bright and endless possibilities are abound. With their new video, “Jungle,” Parrot Dream captures the feeling of something new and fresh, but with the familiar backbone of pop-sensibility we all know and love. This fantastically filmed video presents us with scenes from a South American jungle which are full of color and splendor, that when live-action band shots are superimposed on top of, creates a video as vivid as the song’s rhythmic guitars and vocals.

The Chilean bred group has only been in our fair city for a few years now, but have already won the hearts of many with their dream-pop stylings. Parrot Dream are already veterans of the circuit here, having played some of our favorite venues like the Knitting Factory, Le Poisson Rouge as well as Festivals like Northside and CMJ. As they gear up for their first full length record, we couldn’t be more excited to hear more lush soundscapes from this talented band, and will be keeping close tabs on them.

Pick yourself up a cassette single of Jungle over at the bands Bandcamp, which will be available for pre-order soon,
