VIDEO PREMIERE: “FIRE & THE FUSE” BY KRISTOPHER JAMES

Take a dusty Americana-inspired road-trip this morning with us, featuring the smooth sounds of Kristopher James and his new song “Fire & The Fuse.” This lyric video, while simple, gives a lot of depth to the meandering anthem of love and discourse. The landscape rolls past as we hear the song – the trees are bare and it looks numbingly cold outside. We can imagine two people, madly in love on a trip, but it seems like trouble is brewing and their conversation is the song playing in the tape deck.

Rooted deep in Americana and folk, the song is a fairly straightforward love letter to someone dear. James’ powerful, but soothing voice eases over the jangly guitars reaching not only our ears, but our hearts. The sincerity that comes at us is undeniable and we are thankful that he can emote such feelings in song form. “Fire & The Fuse” is the first single off James’ new EP Find Me, which was released in late May.
