BONNAROO SATURDAY WITH POST MALONE, HOZIER, KACEY MUSGRAVES & MORE

On Saturday, I decided to move my tent to the shade and slept in a little bit! It was still hot but apparently not as bad as past years. By day three I was feeling gross and in desperate need of a shower, but decided I could make it another day.

I started off day three in the media tent editing which ended up being amazing because I got to hear Hozier talk about his newest album and the music business.

I was excited to hear Ruston Kelly because I am a big fan of his wife, Kacey Musgraves. He was great, his voice was very soothing but had a rock and roll edge. His songwriting was amazing and I found myself hanging on to every word.

I was amazed at Chelsea Cutler’s talent. Her voice is so different from other artists it really makes her stand out. She said this was her biggest crowd she had ever played for. She did phenomenal playing several hits. My favorite song by her, your shirt, was so cool to see live.

Hippo Campus always knows how to have a good time. They played a phenomenal show and I was so impressed with the crowd that showed up. They have a unique indie/rock sound that brings in lots of fans. They played songs off of their new album, Bambi. I got to meet up with them after there performance and they were so humble and goofy. It was really cool getting to talk to them. I was honestly super nervous about meeting them, but they were so down to earth and easy to talk to.

The photographers weren’t allowed to be in the photo pit for Marren Morris, but I took a few snaps from far away. She has a very poppy sound with great lyrics and I was glad I got to hear a couple songs live.

One of my cousins favorite artists is JUICE WRLD so I made sure to check him out. He was so fun and really got the crowd going. He has a lot of collabs with other artists and I was surprised with how many songs I knew. He was super energetic and the fans sang along to every song.

Hozier was phenomenal! His voice is like the equivalent of butter, so smooth! He is one of my favorite artists so it was so cool getting to see him live for the first time. His soulful lyrics had people crying all over Roo!

I got to shoot KACEY Musgraves from the pit and it was truly a life changing experience. Her voice is so beautiful it almost doesn’t seem real…BUT IT IS! This was my second time seeing her live and it was even better than the last. She truly captivates the audience by not just her voice, but her beauty as well. She sang Golden Hour” as the sun was setting and it was magical. This was probably my favorite show all of Bonnaroo.

Post Malone didn’t allow many photographers in the photo-pit so I got to his show early and ended up being front row. I was able to snap a few pictures. He is amazing live, his voice is so good and his stage presence is phenomenal. He used the entire stage to his advantage and his Dolly Parton outfit really stole the show. His ability to blend genres together is so cool and I was so happy I got to experience it live.
