Hello Kids! Welcome to Summer! Yes, the birds are chirping, the subway’s hot and sticky, and the music you have waiting for -all frozen year long -has come. New York City knows best when launching a summer palooza of awesome indie music for everyone and just like the great city it is, NYC makes sure it hosts a Vans House Party which does it for free! It is the Summer Music Series presented by FYF and it will be held in The House of Vans (25 Franklin St..) a 25,000 square foot warehouse in one of my favorite boroughs of NY, Brooklyn, doors open at 7pm every event but Vans suggests an early arrival to ensure entry.
If you are late on the happening’s, I’ll tell ya what you already missed. Last Thursday: Charles Bradley and his Extraordinaires, Mac DeMarco, and Benjamin Booker.

Then for a indescribable finale that can only be explained with extreme and passionate dance, we get loose with the Holy Ghost! (No Church), Kim Ann Foxmann, and Dave P on Thursday August 14th-Whew.
