DAMEHT PLAYS THE PYRAMID CLUB

Dameht is playing a month long residency at the Lower East Side legendary spot, The Pyramid Club. I was able to check them out last Friday night and was it great! It was my first time at the venue located on Ave. A. Legends such as Nirvana and Red Hot Chili Peppers played their first NY shows here.

The night started off with a DJ up front, spinning everything from Santana, to classic disco to more current dance songs, all with a Latin flavor. When Dameht was ready to take the stage the crowd moved from the bar to the stage for one of the highest energy shows I’ve seen in a very long time. They blasted through their set in little over a half hour but I’m not complaining! By the time they finished up the set with their hit, “I Love You Two”, my ears felt like they were bleeding…But in a good way! If you get a chance to check out this band at this legendary club, I would jump on it. They’ll be back on August 15th.
