Whiskey Sessions: Walking Shapes croon softly on “Measure for Measure”
First time I saw Walking Shapes live was during CMJ 2013 at Rockwood Music Hall. They were about to release their new music video “Horse” off of their first collection of songs Mixtape Vol: 1 and were already working on their debut record Taka Come On. The song “Measure for Measure” is off of that very debut, a haunting and delicate ballad that transitions well into the acoustic sessions that three of the members – singer and guitarist Nathaniel Hoho, the guitar wielding violin player Jesse Kotansky and bass player Dan Krysa recorded for us during our Whiskey Session. Check it out, it’s definitely worth your while!
