The Knocks returned to Terminal 5 for the second time within a month. They played a CMJ Music Marathon show opening for RAC back in October and this time they’re supporting St. Lucia for the remainder of their tour. For more coverage of St. Lucia go here.
The NYC duo consists of Ben “DJ B-Roc” Ruttner and James “JPatt” Patterson. The high school buddies came up with the name as a result of angry neighbors who would “knock” on their door when things got a little too loud.
The show was sold out and filling up quickly. The lights went down and B-Roc & JPatt took the stage. After a few songs they were joined by some dancers to really get things moving. JPatt rocks out on the bass for some songs as they played their hits, “Comfortable”, “Classic” and “The Feeling.” Guest singer Megan Vice joined The Knocks to sing “The One.” St. Lucia came out and actually credited The Knocks for the formation of his band before singing “Modern Hearts”. The show ended with “Dancing With The DJ” in a room with not much room to move, never mind dance.
