As the editor here I see hundreds of photos a week. When sorting through these pictures I get to see all types of different quality images and it’s hard to find the best ones suitable for publishing due to lighting and composition. The best images always pop out instantly, as if they are jumping off the screen begging to be the next great cover shot. As a frequent contributor to the site I also know the hard work and dedication that goes in to getting the “perfect shot.”
I have compiled my favorite images from our incredible year here at P&W. The set ranges from powerhouses like Jack White and St. Vincent all the way to the relatively unknown local bands not yet on the national radar.
