You don’t have to introduce Bob Dylan to anyone. As a living legend, he is as much of a mystery to the broad public as quantum physics. In the face of releasing his new album, a collection of American Standards on February 3rd that, coincidentally, all have been recorded by Frank Sinatra, he’s agreed – nay – requested an interview with AARP’s Robert Love, a former Rolling Stone reporter.
In the condensed interview, Dylan and Love touch upon Frank Sinatra, Dylan’s crush on Mavis Staples, why he drew back from public in 1966.
You can read the first cut of the interview here, the full version will be published in February.
