Catchy lyrics, loud drums, and dance inspired rock soul are the perfect trio that XNY create. The Brooklyn based duo met as next door neighbors at Berklee College of Music in Boston, Pam Autuori leads with vocals and entices us with her savory guitar playing and Jacob Shreiber who gives his everything when dynamically playing the drums.
They have even won the hearts of Metro US, being named 1 of the 5 Best Indie Rock Bands in Brooklyn; yes, they are that AWESOME!
White Wire, starts off with sexy, grungy guitar riffs; there’s something powerful yet subtle in Pam’s voice and Jacob’s energetic drumming together create an unstoppable force. With lyrics such as, “….I wanna love you everywhere and tear” – you know there is something memorable in a sultry, bluesy inspired sound. It’s a tune that describes the wanting and yearning of a lover who can’t seem to be hooked; who hasn’t been there before? It’s the wanting of the bad boy or girl who can’t be tamed but we’re addicted to their mysterious ways that they toy with us. XNY is currently finalizing their EP, Should I, which includes “White Wire.” We hope you get addicted to the power duo just like we have; they’ve been on repeat this entire week.
White Wire, is the perfect song to curl up on a cold day like today and sip on a warm Hot Toddy. Try it, you’ll thank us later.
Check out what antics the band is up to on their Instagram!
