Rounding out the band are Eliot Boult and Dave Haskett. The Canadian siblings of Portuguese ancestry played Arlene’s Grocery on Tuesday night. You can definitely hear some Latin influences in their music with Bela’s vocals reminiscent of Cyndi Lauper. They played songs from their upcoming LP as well as an amazing cover of Death Cab for Cutie’s “I will Follow You Into The Dark.” The rocking set made for great photos. Ending somewhat abruptly, the set left me wanting more!
