It’s almost summertime guys and you know what that means: festival season. Get your sunscreen and short shorts out because one of the city’s favorite one-day festivals is back. On July 11, surf-rock garage-pop beats are going to be taking over Pier 84 in Hudson River Park during The Village Voice’s 5th annual 4Knots Music Festival.
The Village Voice announced their initial line-up yesterday (more names to come soon). Big names include Laguna Beach rocker, Mikal Cronin, and Chicago rockers, Twin Peaks. Others that were announced include Happyness (London), Meatbodies (Los Angeles) and Heaters (Grand Rapids).
Tickets go on sale officially on May 9 at 10 a.m. Concertgoers can pick from two different tiers of ticket options: general admission ($25) and VIP ($50). Kids under 10 are free, so bring the little ones and educate them on the world of great music.
This festival will be held rain or shine folks, so get your tickets while you can and prepare for the madness!
