Summer here in the big apple is humid, crowded, and very busy with way too many concerts, brunches, happy hours, and weekends at the beach for us to wrap our heads around until September rolls around and brings us back down to earth. One thing young New Yorkers can’t deny however, is fun times hanging out at an exclusive NYC party rubbing shoulders with the social elite. Not like the pretentious Gossip Girl scene, but the actual cool people that make this city as badass as it is. Walrus Digital, All Axcess Tours, and Empire Cruises will be bringing one of those electric and exclusive events to the (almost) open seas next Friday, August 7th, for the first Summer Elite NYC Yacht Experience at Skyport Marina.
This awesome event held only once annually is a music-based event that will host and highlight the who’s who of the city’s top emerging entrepreneurs, tastemakers, designers, artists, and just overall sexy and awesome individuals in the creative beehive that is New York City, at what should be one of the top yacht parties of the summer.
VIP Presale is sold out, but for a pretty reasonable cost of $80 guests will treat themselves to an open bar throughout the event from 7p to 10:30 – to get your drink on while getting down to DJ sets by George Garcia and 4AM, as well as live sets from Jared Evan, Clair Riley-Roe, and possibly a few musical surprise guests! And what’s an awesome NYC event without an awesome after party, which will be held at one of our favorite swanky cocktail lounges in No. 8 in Chelsea.
You know the P&W crew will be there making sure no booze goes untested but try to act like and dress a somewhat classy individual though, as you’ll be around some of the top locals in the creative world, so keep the jorts and turned-around baseball hats at home okay Tony Romo?
