King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard has become one of my favorite bands this last year or so, and couldn’t be more excited to hear they are dropping yet another album in November. The lead single and album title, Paper Mâché Dream Balloon, is a glorious and psychedelic trip through the past with a futuristic edge; that will make you want to run barefoot in the grass while daydreaming of Narnia.
A slight departure from last year’s darker and edgier, I’m In Your Mind Fuzz – Paper Mâché Dream Balloon features dreamy flute action and vocals that could be straight out of 1969. The song effortlessly flows throughout and if this is any indication of what the rest of the album will sound like, we are all in for a tasty treat when the album drops on 11-13-15.
