MAC DEMARCO TURNS WARSAW INTO HIS PERSONAL PLAYGROUND

Pierogis and rock n roll filled the air at The Warsaw in Greenpoint on Thursday, August 20th, when Mac DeMarco played a sold out show to finish his 4 show stop in NYC, on his current tour in support for his latest album “Another One.” The energetic night was started out by Delicate Steve, who set the stage perfectly for Mac and his band. Performing a wide variety of songs from all of his albums, Mac did not disappoint anyone in the crowd. Even throwing in a few covers including Steely Dan, and an encore of Metallica and Deep Purple; in turn, the crowd was left waiting and wanting more as the show came to a close. With crowd surfing, moshing, and loud electric guitar – Mac turned the polish hall of The Warsaw into a rock n’ roll haven. And by releasing music consistently in his short career and putting on a great live show, DeMarco is showing the music world that he’s here to stay and he’s going to have fun doing it. Be sure to check out his latest album, ‘Another One’ and when possible, see one of his great live performances.
