Ah, the next door romance. Better yet – the convenience of it. Today, Sydney based Intergalactix premiere their brand spanking new tune, “Right Next Door,” special for Pancakes readers. The duo have had a successful and fluid career, playing alongside Paul McCartney (amongst others) at Firefly Festival and supported European DJ prodigy Zedd on Jimmy Kimmel in 2014.
“Right Next Door” incorporates a dreamy, funky beat of neighboring flirtation. With similarities to Chromeo and Phoenix, Intergalactix accomplishes a funky, up close next-door crush song, with just the right amount of throwback synthy sprinkling, making this the perfect disco funk jam. Featuring Spencer Ludwig, the single will have you dancing in your PJs hoping your neighbor will see you and shimmy over to join the party.
