New York was in luck when Iggy Pop expanded his Post Pop Depression tour recently, because he added a show at the Capitol Theatre in Port Chester – and it’s happening this week. He’ll be playing there this Thursday, April 14th, and fans can expect to hear songs from his new chart-topping full-length, Post Pop Depression, as well as many of the classics.
Tickets for the newly-added NY show went on sale on April 2nd, but it looks like there are still some available if you jump on them quickly. We saw Iggy Pop perform at Carnegie Hall not too long ago for the Tibet House benefit concert hosted by Philip Glass, and it was pretty fantastic. He was joined by FKA Twigs, Sharon Jones, and Gogol Bordello, and we even got to see him perform spoken word poetry over Glass’ compositions – alongside a full orchestra.
