I was lucky enough to “Spend the Night with Alice Cooper” at The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, NY. Between gigs with his super group Hollywood Vampires and his own Alice Cooper solo tour, the busiest man in the business these days can still put on one hell of a show.
The twenty-two-song set was full of the typical cast of characters including his boa constrictor, a giant Frankenstein, live wind-up dolls, sexy nurses, guillotines and straight jackets.
The set-list included all his hits…and some. He paid tribute to deceased musicians Keith Moon with “Pinball Wizard,” Jimi Hendrix with “Fire” and David Bowie with “Suffragette City.” He ended the night with “Elected,” accompanied by Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton characters. His show is a true theatrical production not to be missed.
