DON’T MISS THESE AWESOME SETS AT 4KNOTS TOMORROW

That’s right, 4Knots is tomorrow! You pumped? We’re getting ready for some sun, music, and New York fest culture at its finest. We know it’s not quite time for your usual serving of Pancake Picks, but thought we’d sneak into the weekend early with a few must-sees for when you’re partying at South Street Seaport tomorrow.

Of course, headliners for 4Knots include Guided By Voices, the Dayton, Ohio indie rockers who have been doing the cool lo-fi thing since ‘83, and The Strumbellas, the much-loved folk-popgrass outfit hailing from Toronto. It’s the perfect time to catch both acts, since they both happened to put out brand new full-lengths in April (Guiding By Voices’ Please Be Honest and The Strumbellas’ Hope). You can catch The Strumbellas on the Pier 16 Stage at 5:40pm, followed by Guided By Voices at 7pm.

We’re also psyched to see a few others in particular on tomorrow’s lineup, the folk-punk Girlpool being one of them. They’ll be wrapping up all the Fulton Stage fun as its final act at 5:30pm, and are sure to be rocking some stuff from their 2015 release, Before the World Was Big. Another Fulton Stage act you won’t want to miss tomorrow is the badass playing at 3:30pm, Diane Coffee (aka Shaun Fleming, drummer for Foxygen). He just released Everybody’s a Good Dog last year – and also ripped up a sick collab, “Crown,” with Killer Mike and El-P on Run the Jewels 2.

The Pier 16 Stage will likely be the hot spot tomorrow, even before the headliners take over. You’ll be able to catch some great sets there in the afternoon, including Mothers, who are hitting it at 2:40pm. We’re excited to hear their newest stuff from When You Walk A Long Distance You Are Tired, and see them bring their experimental folk vibes to the 4Knots crowd. See you tomorrow – stay cool, wear some damn sunscreen, and have a blast!
