Stabwounds brought their amazingly complimentary harmonies to Rockwood Music Hall Tuesday night, a venue they like to call home. The Brooklyn based duo, Amanda Brooklyn and Emma March Barash, describes themselves as “a doe-eyed Doo-Wop inspired folk rock outfit with a salacious, occasionally murderous rock and roll streak.” I couldn’t agree more! They’re like a cross of Natalie Maines and Alanis Morissette.
This was a special night with lots of family and friends, in addition to plenty of fans, eager to pick up a copy of their EP “Goody Goody.” If you missed the show, you can pick up a copy right here.
