STRONG LINEUP AHEAD FOR BOSTON CALLING: TOOL, CHANCE THE RAPPER & MORE

If you didn’t jump on yesterday’s Early Bird ticket sale for Boston Calling 2017, today’s the day to get on it, because this festival is looking pretty good. The just-announced lineup welcomes a number of popular acts this year, including headliners Mumford & Sons, Chance the Rapper, Bon Iver, The xx, and none other than Tool (who are clearly on fire, since they’re also headlining Gov Ball in NYC this year).

That’s just the beginning for must-see sets at this classic Boston fest – which, for the first time ever, will take place at The Harvard Athletic Complex in Allston, MA on Memorial Day Weekend (May 26-28). Once we got past the thrill of seeing best-in-class rap duo Run The Jewels high up on the poster, we were also excited to see the rock genre represented with bands like Weezer and Cage the Elephant (who put on one of the best damn shows at the Meadows Fest last year).

The indie pop genre is also in good shape with acts like Sylvan Esso, who we loved grooving with in Prospect Park and the Meadows alike, and Tegan and Sara, still hot off the release of 2016’s Love You to Death. In addition to the music, Boston Calling 2017 will feature a film experience curated by actress and producer Natalie Portman that we’re very curious to learn more about.
