Diane Birch @ Baby’s All Right – Tonight, you can also catch the soulful sound of Diane Birch at Baby’s All Right. The singer-songwriter was discovered by Prince back in 2006 and has been on the rise since.

P.O.S @ Mercury Lounge (late show) – P.O.S., hailing from Minneapolis, Minnesota, was a member of several late-90s punk bands before he made his name in the hip-hop biz. Don’t miss this unique rapper at Mercury Lounge this Wednesday night.

 

Thursday

Goodbye June @ Gramercy – Nashville rockers Goodbye June, whose awesome new video, “Darlin,'” just premiered on Pancakes & Whiskey, are playing NYC this week. Head to Gramercy Tavern this Thursday for the show – and stay tuned for our upcoming interview with the band.

 

 

Sampha @ Terminal 5 – British electronic/soul artist Sampha will be performing in NYC this Thursday night, hot off the release of his brand new album, Process. Head to Terminal 5 to hear the latest and greatest from this singer and producer.

 

Friday

White Denim @ Brooklyn Bowl – We were really impressed by Austin rock band White Denim when we saw them open for Band of Horses at Summerstage last year, and we’re not alone. See what the buzz is about when they play Brooklyn Bowl this Friday night.

 

Shy Girls @ MHOW – Head to Music Hall of Williamsburg this Friday night to see Portland’s much-loved PBR&B artist, Shy Girls, aka Dan Vidmar, take the stage. Fans can expect to hear songs from his newest full-length album, Salt.

 

Saturday

Alexander F @ Baby’s All Right – Rubblebucket’s own Alex Toth is the guy behind punk outfit Alexander F, and we’ve really enjoyed covering them thus far. Make your way over to Baby’s All Right on Saturday night to see why.

 

VHS Collection @ Bowery Ballroom – Synth-rock band VHS Collection, who just released their first full-length album, Stereo Hype, last year, are playing right at home in NYC this Saturday night. Get ready to groove with them at the Bowery Ballroom.

Phil Lesh & The Terrapin Family Band @ Brooklyn Bowl – Bassist and founding Grateful Dead member Phil Lesh is playing Brooklyn Bowl this weekend, and you won’t want to miss the chance to jam with this legend. See what he and his Terrapin Family Band have to offer this Sunday.
