We are happy to premiere yet another great tune for you all today called “Magic Potion” by The Dead Sailor Girls. What makes this group a bit different is the fact that the gorgeous harmonies that you hear, are actually a stunning mother and daughter team by the names of Julietta and Eve Hay.
Drenched in throwback goodness, jangly guitars, a solid backbeat, and that fantastic harmony; this feel good tune is just what we needed in today’s muddled scene. Based out of San Francisco, the ocean plays a large part in their sound and influence, and the band often dresses up as mermaids and such for their live shows. Luckily for us, we don’t have to wait long for more music as their debut album, Rolling Sea, produced by Karl Derfler is scheduled to be released on 4-28-17 for Blue Rose Music.
