If you’re ready to hear the best rock track of the year thus far, then you’ve come to the right place. Pancakes And Whiskey is geeked to share this great video premiere today from Brooklyn based, Added Color, called “Psycho.” The video is a fun vehicle for the killer tune, and was filmed in Brazil in one day by Ritmo Visual Filmes.
With churning guitars, a bassline that wont quit and urgent/spastic lyrics that come at you like a freight-train, “Psycho” hits all the right notes to make a killer rock-offering that instantly gets stuck in your head. Consisting of Brazilian born brothers Daniel (drums/vocals) and Kiko Freiberg (vocals/guitar) – there is a definite tightness with the two that is accentuated by the brilliant playing of Tim Haggerty on guitar and Danny Dahan on the bass.
“Psycho” is also the name of their new EP which drops tomorrow, and we just cant wait to sink our teeth into it. Be sure to catch the band’s EP release show at Mercury Lounge on 6-16-17.
“We are all different and crazy in our own way, but so often unique and interesting people hide who they really are and become fake to avoid judgement. When we embrace and respect who we and other people REALLY are and get passed the bullshit, life becomes easier and more enjoyable. Psycho is about being judged as crazy but being unaffected and pretty happy with life.
This music video was all shot in one day at a crazy arcade, pool and bowling alley spot in São Paulo, Brazil when we went to headline the Palco do Rock festival during carnaval. It was shot and directed by the same awesome and talented people who did our video for “Our Secret” (Ritmo Visual Filmes).” – Added Color
