Monday
Cypress Hill @ Brooklyn Steel – The legendary rap group returns for their annual “Haunted Hill’ show which we can assure you is an unreal and smoky good time.
Julien Baker @ Rough Trade – Buy Julien’s new album, Turn Out The Lights, and receive a ticket to the show which starts at 6pm and will be followed by a Q&A with Baker.
Phil Lesh & The Terrapin Family Band @ Brooklyn Bowl – The longtime Grateful Dead bassist brings his joyous band of misfits back to the bowl for a swinging good time.
HALLOWEEN
Primus @ Brooklyn Steel – The Masters of weird have returned with a fabulous new album The Desaturating Seven and will make Brooklyn Steel the best place to be this Halloween.
George Clinton & Parliament Funkadelic @ B.B. Kings – The straight up funk legends will have B.B. Kings in fine form on Halloween.
GWAR @ Irving Plaza – If you want to make the spooky holiday a memorable one, head over to Irving Plaza and be prepared to have “blood” and “guts” spewed in every direction while “monster-aliens” destroy you with chunky rock riffs.
Shpongle @ Terminal 5 – If you feel like dancing the holiday away while in costume, Shpongle is definitely the road you want to take.
Wednesday
Pheobe Ryan + Morgxn @ MHOW – The former NYC pop singer, now resides in L.A., so show some hometown love when she returns to Brooklyn with another local fave Morgxn.
Thursday
A Perfect Circle @ Barclays Center – The intense rockers led by Maynard James Keenan dropped a killer new single recently, and can only hope a full album is to come soon as it’s fire.
Grizzly Bear @ Brooklyn Steel – The NYC band starts a 3 night residency at the cool Brooklyn venue celebrating their new album Painted Ruins, don’t miss out.
Friday
Lotus @ Brooklyn Bowl – The (mostly)instrumental, electronic, jam-band is one of a kind and will have the bowl dancing away.
Overcoats @ Bowery Ballroom – This incredible pop-duo from NY is really special and urge you to check them out before they’re playing much-less-intimate rooms.
Saturday
High Waisted @ Rough Trade – One of our favorite local live-bands are headlining Rough Trade with the help from friends The Hundred Hounds, Beechwood, and The Coax.
And The Kids & Kalbells @ Baby’s – Western Mass has produced some of the finest indie-bands the last 20 years so be sure to check them out, but get there early for Kalbells because they’re a pretty special group, with Kalmia from Rubblebucket leading the charge.
Sunday
Tall Juan, The Wedge @ Baby’s – This special afternoon starting at noon show is FREE with four fantastic bands including the ever ferocious Tall Juan headlining.
