Pancakes And Whiskey is excited to premiere the newest video from Saint Slumber called “INFINITE” today. Filmed mostly in a striking black and white fashion, the video is a simple, yet sharp and intimate take of the impressive young band. Starting with some strings/synths and an absolutely gorgeous finger-picked guitar, the bass and percussion kicks in as an ethereal and powerful voice soars above the floating melody. The song is a true ballad that tugs at the heart and really makes you listen to the lyrics closely. “INFINITE” will appear as the last song on an eagerly-awaited EP the band plans on dropping on 9-14-18 entitled YOUTH//2, and we cannot wait to get a copy here at P&W.
“Our newest single INFINITE is one we’ve been excited about for a long time now. Serving as the final track of our new EP, this is the first proper ballad we’ve put out as a band. We wanted to strip away most of the electronic elements of our music and have a song rooted in minimalism: an acoustic riff, a kick drum, and vocals.
