It’s a surreal treat when you get to present a show featuring a band you’re always blasting on full volume. The rock lovers here at Pancakes & Whiskey are thrilled to present the one and only Walking Papers at NYC’s Mercury Lounge on November 26th, our favorite part of their just-announced winter tour dates. The Seattle rockers’ rugged sound hits like a crashing wave, and we can’t wait to soak it up live again, especially in such an intimate venue on NYC’s Lower East Side.
Fronted by vocalist and guitarist Jeff Angell (a man who likes his pancakes with cream cheese), with keyboardist Benjamin Anderson, Walking Papers are a must-see band whose first two records are both so strong, we’re already wondering which songs will make it onto their NYC setlist. They’ll be joined by local guests GRITS from Brooklyn at Mercury Lounge – and to add to the good news, we’re giving away some tickets for this special night. You can win a free pair of tickets to Walking Papers’ November 26th show at Mercury Lounge using one of three options:
Like and comment on our Facebook post
Like, comment, and tag a friend on our Instagram post
Retweet our Twitter post
Completing one of the above choices will officially enter you in our drawing to win a ticket pair. Of course, to make sure you’re covered either way, you should buy tickets right here.
The poster art for this show was created by artist Alex Moore, whose work can be found here. You can follow Walking Papers on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter, and read our full interview with Jeff Angell to learn more about their music. We look forward to rocking out with you on November 26th.
