We are excited to premiere the new track from Whisperer today called “You Were On My Mind.” “You Were On My Mind” starts with a gorgeous finger-picked guitar that lays down a weaving melody, not unlike autumn leaves falling to the ground. Then comes an angelic singing voice that floats just above the gentle music, that seemingly tells a story of love, admiration and longing. The sparse and wandering track has zero percussion or bass, and that is what makes it special as you are invited to a magical and simple place, that lets you fully immerse yourself into the words and world of Whisperer.
Sam Fuller-Smith, AKA Whisperer, from Raleigh, NC is releasing his new album entitled Am I The Meadow Or The Mountain? on 3-1-19; which was recorded in Nashville between 2016-18 with friend, engineer and multi-instrumentalist Rodrigo Avendano “to achieve an album of sparse, intimate meditations on love, lost time and life’s many changes.”
