We’re so happy to share news about Sea.Hear.Now (September 18-19, 2021) since we’ve been patiently awaiting this beachside treat since early 2020. The schedule by day for the Asbury Park, NJ music & surf festival was just announced for 2021 and the lineup has mostly remained the same, with some additions. Saturday is looking awesome with favorites of ours like Pearl Jam, Patti Smith, and Reignwolf slated to rock the stage. Day one will also offer performances by The Avett Brothers, Patti Scialfa, Lord Huron, Dr. Dog, Matt & Kim, White Denim (new), Cory Henry (new) and more. Sunday will bring us sets from Billy Idol, The Smashing Pumpkins, Dirty Heads, Grouplove, Strand of Oaks (new), Tank and the Bangas, Ani DiFranco, Orville Peck, and Moon Taxi, among others. Check out the full lineup – including surfers – below.
It’s not too late to buy tickets – and you’d better grab them quickly, knowing how hardcore these fan bases are. Start booking that hotel too, because all the spots around Asbury Park are filling up fast for that weekend. In addition to the music, you’ll get to watch the surfers compete in daily North Beach Expression Sessions. You can also expect murals, a recycled surfboard arch on the center of the beach called “Stoke Henge,” and Danny Clinch’s Transparent Gallery Pop Up. Find more details here and we’ll see you there.
