Shortly after holding a virtual fundraiser with New York City mayoral candidate, Maya Wiley, to support her campaign, The Strokes and Friends have announced a show at the sparking “new” Irving Plaza in New York, NY that will serve as an in-person fundraiser for Maya’s campaign. The gig will be held this Saturday, June 12, with doors opening at 6:30 PM EST and the event beginning at 8:30 PM EST. Irving Plaza is complying with New York State mandates that require all guests to be fully vaccinated for this full-capacity event. All guests must have proof that they have a full COVID-19 vaccination (final dose 14 days before the event). The 18+ concert will also deliver all tickets as mobile tickets, enabling a more contactless entry experience – and tickets will go on sale HERE on Wednesday, June 9 at 12 PM EST.
