Amidst a venerable ocean of music festivals bringing the biggest names to stages all over the country this year, one of the latest and loudest welcoming calls is once again coming from the banks of Long Island Sound – but this time, it’s just a bit different.
As announced on Tuesday (May 14), Soundside Festival will be making quite a first impression for its first edition at Bridgeport, Connecticut’s Seaside Park with two action-packed nights on September 28 and 29. Headlining the fest’s maiden voyage will be GRAMMY-nominated superstar and New England native Noah Kahan on Saturday, with rock legends Foo Fighters cranking it to 11 to close things out on Sunday. The remainder of the lineup is also boasting a hefty dose of both long-standing and fresh-faced stardom with an eclectic run of performances from 18 other bands on its rotating stage, including Queens Of The Stone Age, Goo Goo Dolls, Teddy Swims, Fleet Foxes, Norah Jones, Boyz II Men, Gregory Alan Isakov, Grace Potter, The Kills, Lisa Loeb and Nine Stories and more.
Additionally, the revamped early Autumn bacchanalia will carry on the spirit of its previous Sound On Sound moniker with a sprawling assortment of food options including PopUp Bagels, The Gotham Burger Social Club, Grumpy Dumpling Co., 29 Markle Ct, The Blind Rhino, and Walter’s Hot Dogs, as well as a curated selection of cocktails, craft beer and wine options, among many other selections.
Tickets for the festival will be accessible via pre-sale starting on Thursday (May 16) between 10 a.m. and noon ET, at which point the public on-sale and price increases begin. All ticket prices for all ticket types are all-inclusive, with no fees attached.
