Oh Annie – beautiful, weird Annie. Just now, she announced via NME that she will be releasing a Deluxe version of her eponymous 2014 record (out February 9). If that’s not enough to almost make us lose our marbles, she also already unveiled a new track, “Bad Believer.”

The new tune is much more punk rock than the rest of the record. Segwaying from frizzy guitar and synths accompanied by the occasional punctuating bell in the background to a calm, almost serene interlude, she’s showcasing her songwriting prowess in the most extraordinary ways. The steadiness of the song’s four-four time the rhythm may not offer a lot of variation, but definitely invites to some interpretive dancing. We dare you to dance along, because this one’s basically demanding it.

If you want to hear more of Ms. Clarke’s most recent creations make sure to tune in to ‘Girls’ on HBO. In one of the upcoming episodes she’ll be revealing her next new track “Teenage Talk.” But in the meantime dance away to “Bad Believer,” little ones, dance!
