The punk Gods have heard our prayers and 2015 is finally the year we are going to get a full length debut from NYC band Honduras. With their gritty punk sound and lead singer Patrick Phillips’ honest and cleverly spun lyrics, even Sid Vicious would have been proud to be a Millenial if it meant having bands like this. “Mistake” comes from their third EP “Break” and takes us on a trippy animated adventure involving pizza with other worldly toppings, and Phillips being covered in…slime? This video definitely tugs at our nostalgic heartstrings first for the glory days of our father’s punk music and then for the slime filled Nickelodeon driven days of adolescence. Combine all that with one of the top tracks from “Break” and Honduras has one killer video.
