Gregg Allman never fails to bring the cool factor to the party, and now brings us a freaking festival! Named after his first solo album, the inaugural Laid Back Festival will be hitting the Nikon at Jones Beach Theater on August 29th and the lineup is outstanding including – The Doobie Brothers and Bruce Hornsby. Partnering with Live Nation, the festival will also include the finest regional restaurants, breweries, and wineries that will make this a day to remember. Allman had a lot of fun putting the festival together for us and said, “Good music, good food and drink and a beautiful beach – what could be better?” – We couldn’t agree more.

I can see grabbing something tasty from Guy Fieri’s BBQ “Grill Out,” then heading over to the Port Jeff Brewing Company to grab a frosty brew, before making my way to a jam session with an all-star lineup. Laid Back will begin at 4pm – VIP packages including items such as a clam bake on the beach and limited edition show posters will be available.
