Webster Hall hosted an amazing double bill Tuesday night. The night started with Brooklyn-by-way-of Cape Cod rockers Highly Suspect. This hard-hitting trio had the already packed, sold out crowd rocking. Their debut album Mister Asylum is due out July 17th, and I would highly recommend it if you’re into Kings of Leon or The Kooks. Their single Lydia just hit the top ten charts.
Headlining the night were Welsh indie rockers Catfish and the Bottlemen. Taking the stage to OutKast’s Caroline, these guys kept the already energized crowd going. Their debut album The Balcony is out now. It’s already reached the charts in the UK and is getting lots of play on Sirius’ Alt Nation. They played their first single Kathleen, followed by an acoustic version of Hourglass, and the hit Cocoon, with a little teaser of Bruce’s Dancing in the Dark thrown in. These guys sound amazing live, and I would highly recommend seeing them!
