Tuesday
Natalie Prass @ Music Hall of Williamsburg – Natalie’s honest and intimate style of music really warms you up and welcomes you into her musical soul when she sings. She doesn’t take herself too seriously, and has always made her audience feel like they’re listening to her play to them in their living room.
Buddy Guy @ B.B. King’s – There’s not much that needs to be said with this show, aside from you have a chance to see the last of the living blues legends that came from a musical era long before rock and roll formed, and helped play a roll in the transition of blues music from the juke joints of the south to the American Bandstands in every living room in the country.
Wednesday
Shakey Graves @ Terminal 5 – Known by his friends and family as Alejandro Rose-Garcia, Shakey Graves brings a style of bluesy-rock and folk rock that has a one of a kind sound. While his foundations a more purely folk, Alejandro mixes many different influences to help him get thrown into the mix of fantastic singer-songwriters today.
Alberta Cross @ Cameo Gallery – Alberta cross is riding high on the release of their most recent album, Alberta Cross. With Cameo Gallery closing soon, the NYC rock band is coming back to play one of the venues they used to play as a young band back in the mid-2000s to help bid thee farewell.
PPL MVR @ Highline Ballroom – This is for those who wish to experience something a bit different than the normal shoegaze heavy shit we get dealt most of the time. PPL MVR is unlike any other band you’ve ever seen or heard. Get there early for Cerebral Ballzy for a double dose of rock n roll fun.
Thursday
Son Little @ Baby’s All Right – In an era where genres are mixed together like cake batter, Son Little (Aaron Livingston) takes R&B, blues, and rock, and mixes them into a dirty and smooth style of music that belongs on any type of playlist you can think of.
Whiskey Shivers @ Mercury Lounge – Whenever we can drop the word “whiskey,” we do, but this is also a fantastic Americana band that strips down to the essentials to bring you a boot stomping good time.
Friday
Meg Myers @ Webster Hall Marlin Room – Last time we saw the alt-rock singer-songwriter was in the Studio at Webster. Meg’s slowly working her way up the mountain as she’s gained some momentum with the release of her full length album debut recently.
Made Of Oak @ Baby’s All Right – Made Of Oak is Nick Sanborn of Sylvan Esso, so on that merit alone, this gig is noteworthy. We are excited to see what Nick rolls out on his own and should be a magical night at Baby’s.
Saturday
Crazy & The Brains @ Palisades – Mixing punk and garage rock, Crazy & The Brains bring an unkempt energy to their music and performances and always make for a memorable experience for fans in one way or another.
Stephen Kellogg @ Bowery Ballroom – Stephen brings his Americana acoustic rock catalog of hits to Bowery Ballroom gearing up for his upcoming album release. Last time we saw Stephen was playing a more intimate show at SubCulture NYC, so it’ll be nice to see him throw a party for a larger and louder venue.
