Monday
Clean Bandit @ Irving Plaza – Start your week with English electronic music group Clean Bandit, who are playing Irving Plaza tonight. While you may know them from their ’14 hit, “Rather Be,” the group just released a new single, “Rockabye,” this autumn.
Tuesday
Pronoun @ Mercury Lounge (early show) – Alyse Vellturo, aka Pronoun, will play Mercury Lounge on Tuesday, performing songs from her debut EP, Rhyme & Reason. Listen for her latest single, “just cuz you can’t,” released late October.
Sleeping with Sirens & State Champs @ PlayStation Theater – Orlando post-hardcore band Sleeping with Sirens are taking over PlayStation Theater on Friday, coming off the release of their Live and Unplugged album earlier this year. The’ll be joined by Albany pop-punk band State Champs.
Hiss Golden Messenger @ MHOW – American folk band Hiss Golden Messenger, fronted by MC Taylor and hailing from North Carolina, will be in NYC Tuesday night. Catch them at the Music Hall of Williamsburg, and listen for songs from their newest album, Heart Like a Levee.
Wednesday
Lydia Loveless @ Bowery Ballroom – Lydia Loveless, the eclectic alt-country songwriter from Columbus, Ohio, is playing the Bowery Ballroom this Wednesday. Her new LP, Real, released this August, is sure to be a draw for fans.
The Pretty Reckless @ T5 – For some real NYC rock, head to Terminal 5 on Wednesday to catch The Pretty Reckless. The band just released their newest full-length, Who You Selling For, this October, so it’s a great time to see them.
Wild Beasts & Porcelain Raft @ LPR – UK indie rockers Wild Beasts are playing Le Poisson Rouge on Wednesday, accompanied by Porcelain Raft. Fans can expect to hear songs from their new album, Boy King.
Thursday
Letters To Cleo @ Bowery Ballroom – Boston alt-rockers Letters to Cleo will be hitting NYC this week, not long after releasing their new EP, Back to Nebraska. You can catch them at the Bowery Ballroom on Thursday night.
Balance & Composure & Foxing @ Warsaw – Hailing from from Doylestown, Pennsylvania, Balance & Composure are taking their alternative rock to Warsaw this Thursday. The opening set will feature St. Louis rock band, Foxing.
Friday
Carbon Leaf @ Gramercy Theatre – Carbon Leaf, the indie rock quintet who have been performing since the 90s, are playing Gramercy Theatre this Friday night. The Richmond, Virginia musicians are known for their Celtic, folk-infused sound.
Martha Wainwright @ LPR – Head to Le Poisson Rouge on Friday night to catch Martha Wainwright, the Canadian folk-rock songwriter who just released her brand new album, Goodnight City, this week.
Saturday
Cashmere Cat @ T5 – Norwegian DJ and producer Magnus August Høiberg, best known as Cashmere Cat, is bringing his unique electronic sound to Terminal 5 on Saturday. His debut album is due for release this year.
Body Language @ Rough Trade – Make your way over to Rough Trade on Saturday for Body Language, the electronic/alternative 4-piece from Hartford, Connecticut. Fans can look forward to songs from their brand new full-length, Mythos, released just last week.
Sunday
Jim James & Twin Limb @ T5 – The one and only Jim James is sneaking away from My Morning Jacket for some solo shows that you won’t want to miss, touring in support of his brand new album, Eternally Even. We can’t wait to see him play Terminal 5 with Twin Limb this Sunday.
DIIV & Moon King @ Warsaw – Brooklyn indie rock band DIIV are bringing their dream pop sound to Warsaw this Sunday, still fresh off the release of their ’16 album, Is the Is Are. Joining them will be opening act Moon King, the pop project of songwriter and producer Daniel Woodhead.
