It’s always a good idea to go into the weekend with a good song in your head and with the newest track from Steady Sun called “Television Eyes,” you get a trippy and eclectic tune to jive on. With wobbly guitars and distorted vocals, “Television Eyes,” transports the listener into a different time and place entirely and doesn’t let up for the duration; making it a stand out track in today’s muddled and sometimes confusing music scene.
The NYC-based band describes their genre as “Jive Daydream,” and we are cool with that as there’s definitely an ethereal quality about their sound. If you dig this tune you are in luck as the band’s album, Indifferent World, drops next month on the 7th and they play two shows to celebrate – 5-26 at Our Wicked Lady and 6-7 at Union Pool.
