It’s usually a while before we’re pondering the Governors Ball lineup, but rumors are already stirring this December, thanks to the cool way they’ve decided to announce it. Leading up to a special, 48-hour holiday pre-sale on Tuesday, December 12th – during which prices will be lower than ever before – they’re revealing one lineup clue a day on their website. The second hint appeared just a few hours ago, and so far, we’re pretty stumped. Below are the first two clues – what appears to be the Statue of Liberty’s torch (…Arcade Fire?), and a set of praying hands (…Lorde? Father John Misty? Judas Priest?!)
The eighth annual music festival will return to Randall’s Island from June 1st-3rd in 2018, and last year, brought us killer sets from Tool, Cage the Elephant, Wu-Tang Clan, and numerous other big names. The 2018 pre-sale begins on 12pm EST on December 12th, and will offer 3-day VIP tickets at $560, and 3-Day GA tickets for just $245 (plus shipping and fees). This bargain will only last ‘til 11:59pm on December 14th, so don’t let it pass you by. And of course, keep checking the “12 Days of Gov Ball” clues here, and let us know if you have any revelations.
