The leaves are falling. The temperatures are dropping. Pumpkin spice latte’s are back and you’re slowly bringing back out your beanie collection. Fall is here! & what better way to welcome the season than with some good music paired with bourbon?!
We, Pancakes and Whiskey, are hosting a very nifty event at the Knitting Factory on Friday, September 26th at 7:45 pm. This event will be headlined by 3 amazing bands:
This NYC trio has taken the sounds of Caribbean and mashed it with indie pop to create this style which sort of reminds you of The Killers but with their own twist. The Rotaries deliver a catchy, enjoyable style of music, which I’m sure you’ll enjoy. Check out this live video of The Rotaries.
Nolan, Kyle, Mitch and Seb. These four men will take you on a trip to early 90’s rock, giving you that reverb-saturated sound that is missed. The Cambridge quartet brings us endless hours of dreamy, layered textures with their music. Stream Infinity Girl’s newest music here.
Brooklyn based band ‘The Love Ways’ bring you alternative rock, reminiscent of the days when Blink-182 ruled the rock world. I love their song ‘Avalanche Kids’ as it has a great beat you can dance to. Listen to The Love Ways “Vacant Years EP” here
Oh, we can’t forget to mention. The event, which is sponsored by Four Roses Bourbon, will be giving away FREE FourRoses Bourbon to the first 50 guests in the door, followed by discounted Four Roses for the remainder of the night. So get your butts down to the Knitting Factory on September 26th! Be sure to visit the event page to RSVP here.
