Pancakes And Whiskey is excited to premiere the new song from California’s Kid Bloom called “Prom” today. Full of synths, warbly, but concise lyrics, and rolling bass, “Prom” is a slow-burning emotional roller that echoes familiar sounds from the past, whilst engaging in a genuine new-edge spirit that is hard to ignore. To this listener, the track has a clear concept to it and seems hard to find in the muddled, auto-tuned confusion of todays pop-scene. The single is off their upcoming EP due out this fall entitled Lemonhead, which we are really looking forward to hearing in full.
