MY MORNING JACKET’S PATRICK HALLAHAN ANNOUNCES COOKING SHOW

The P&W team gets psyched when the worlds of music and food collide, especially when one of our favorite bands is involved. My Morning Jacket drummer Patrick Hallahan, who is also a passionate home chef and Louisville, KY restaurateur, just announced an original cooking show available exclusively on Seated. The three-episode series will showcase unique recipes, full demonstrations, stories, and special guests – including MMJ bassist Tom Blankenship, VHS or Beta’s Craig Pfunder, and Hallahan’s daughter.

In The Kitchen with Patrick Hallahan

“For as long as I can remember, cooking and making music have been hand in hand in how I express myself,” said Hallahan. “I’ve had the honor of playing music for people all of my adult life. Now, through taping cooking segments, it’s really nice to be able to do the same with food.” Though he’s best known for his two decades of kickass drumming for My Morning Jacket, Hallahan also co-founded Louisville, KY’s renowned Butchertown Grocery. For In The Kitchen with Patrick Hallahan, he will reportedly “share some of his tips and tricks to help maximize ingredients and make the most out of one’s food budget.”

Be sure to get your tickets (here) before the first episode premieres on Sunday, February 21st at 6pm ET. The next episodes will air at the same time on the following Sundays – February 28th and March 7th. The individual episode price is $25 and the three-episode package is $50, with VIP options too. All tickets for In The Kitchen come with the full recipe, shopping lists, and “an exclusive playlist, showcasing his personal soundtrack for culinary adventure.” Watch the teaser video Hallahan posted here and follow him on Instagram and Twitter for more updates.
