Alternative indie band Have Mercy plays ‘Pawn Takes Rook’ during their CMJ week for our Whiskey Sessions. “Pawn Takes Rook” is off their recent album, A Place of Our Own. The mellow acoustic sound perfectly accompanies the gloomy city day peeking out from behind them in this video.
The Baltimore, Maryland band consists of vocalist and guitarist Brian Swindle, Nick Woolford on bass and vocals, Todd Wallace on drums and vocals, and Andrew Johnson on guitar, vocals, and tambourine.
