LUKE JAMES PLAYS SOB’S

Luke James isn’t only an incredible talent, but one hell of a performer. It’s evident that he puts all of himself into connecting with the crowd. Luke is able to get lost in his own music while also basically serenading those around him with his effortlessly impeccable voice. His past two mix tapes are great but don’t do his live performances justice, which is a necessary thing in a great entertainer. Each song Luke sings is about love; losing it, finding it, making it, wanting it back, and everything in between. With bouquets of roses and their pedals sprawled across the stage, Luke opened with Michael Jackson’s The Way You Make Me Feel as if to united the crowd with a familiar tune.

He continued with his songs Strawberry Vapors, Make Love To Me, and his new single, Options, featuring “the boss”, Rick Ross. He incorporated a cover of Hold On We’re Going Home and performed it better than anyone ever could (no offense, Drake). Mixed in with uplifting words of wisdom, he thanked his fans, who could basically finish his sentences, almost too much for their support. Luke James no stranger to success in the music industry, having written songs for huge names like Chris Brown, Britney Spears, and Keri Hilson. You may have caught Luke on the Mrs. Carter World Tour after being selected by Queen Bey herself, or in her music video for Super Power this past year. It’s been a long time in the works, but his new album will be released on September 23rd, 2014
