THE NEPOTIST GETS COZY ON VALENTINES DAY AT ROCKWOOD MUSIC HALL

With sexy drapes and red lights, Rockwood Music Hall was the place to be on Saturday night especially since it was Valentine’s Day. Yes, It can be a sappy Hallmark holiday but why not rock out at an awesome show where addictive, sultry tunes are accompanied by a great crowd and delicious drinks.

The Nepotist began the cold, snowy night on a  sweet note with “Trust,” a song that had everyone dancing. Their sound is truly bliss, Chris Frank’s voice is lovable and his onstage personality makes it all the more memorable. Like a regular 20-something year old, “Trust,” resonated a lot with me; it speaks about money, love, and trust woes. The Neptotist is the perfect mix of blues, rock, and a very charming presence, their set list was amazingly organized from the seductive “Bones” to beautifully covering Jeff Buckley’s “Satisfied Mind.” They had all of the crowd’s attention from start to finish and have a great chemistry onstage.

Whatever mood you’re in The Nepotist will surely make your night so much better. Don’t miss out on the talented band! They will charmingly heat up your winter nights!
