SONG PREMIERE: “ESKOTA” BY CATCH PRICHARD

If you’ve ever found yourself digging through old postcards or Polaroids in someone’s attic, you know how easy it is to lose track of time; gazing into the lens flares and blurry faces, getting lost in another place. This feeling is akin to the experience of hearing “Eskota” by Catch Prichard – the latest project of Sawyer Gebauer (who you may know from his other project, Brittsommar). “Eskota” is the first single from his forthcoming EP of the same name, which is due out October 21st via Devise Records, and one we’re proud to premiere today on Pancakes & Whiskey.

“Titled after the west Texas ghost town in which it was created,” according to Sawyer, “Eskota” reclines into an earthy, fireside vibe thanks to his vintage-vinyl vocals and masterful use of slide guitar. Explore what Sawyer describes (rather mysteriously) as “memories of the city and another countless encounter,” and get lost with Catch Prichard with the stream above.
